Ethnoroute of Daleszyce Commune” - the exhibition

The participants of the project have finished all the tasks that were planned in the schedule of the project. The results of the research connected with the customs, traditions and history of the region were exhibitions and theatrical performances. On the National Day, which was organized during the meeting of the Comenius project partners, our students performed „Wesele Marzyskie” (means the wedding from the village Marzysz). The wedding preparations took a few weeks. Firstly the young actors read the script. Then they chose the roles. After that they practiced their diction and folk songs. All the preparations were held with the help and supervision of our specialists Mrs Teresa Klimczak and Mr Norbert Wojciechowski. The performance was a great success. All the guests were delighted by the show and the actors got terrific applause.

From 16-19 April the parents, teachers and the inhabitants of Daleszyce had an occasion to see the exhibition of the ethnoproject final products . Our students prepared all the necessary documentation: photos, albums, portfolios and multimedia presentations. The focal point of the exhibition was a film projection titled “Wesele Marzyskie”. Moreover, the students presented posters, a time – line that presented the most important monuments- historic stones on the map of Daleszyce commune as well as hand-made flowers tulips, daffodils and crocus. Those hand-made flowers were made during the workshop that was run by Mrs Teresa Klimczak. We would like to express her our sincere thanks for all the help during the project.

From 24 April you can see this exhibition in the Public Library in Daleszyce. Our students are going to present their declamatory talents and the effects of the project activities during the Passions and Talents Festival. The festival will take place at our school in May.

We invite all the interested people to visit our project website and share your opinions on the ethnoblog.
